Glad he's back! He may not be though.

I was about to go home and put a notice in the paper when my wife called and said Norton was home. So I started taking down all the "Lost Dog" signs I had posted when a man and woman out walking said they were the ones who found my dog. I tried to give them $50 dollars for finding him, but they wouldn't accept it. They said dogs had a habit of following them when they walked, and Norton was a really friendly fellow. I told them I was extremely grateful because I work nights, and the highlight of my day is coming home to find him waiting at the door. I'm glad they found him, and not some crack-head looking for a sparring partner for his pit-bull.
No treats for Norton. He's been thoroughly scolded. BAD DOG! Worried us sick!
PS: About the medication Norton needs (on the sign)? Just the regular heartworm monthly preventative, but I thought the line might spark a better response. We have it, just waiting now to go to the store and get some hot-dogs or Lil' Smokies sausages to put it in. Unlike Cain, he won't eat the pill out of my hand. I have to sneak it into that little SOB someway.
