I've had 4 contractors in who've given me similar rundowns, once while hubby was at home. I do know a little about home improvement, Dad has a couple townhomes that he leases. I used to go help him do odd ends and jobs on them. Of course I called Daddy when my a/c went down
We decided to go with the middle of the road contractor, too expensive is a rip off, too cheap is too good to be true.
