The exact screensize, available for the user, is 768 x 981 pixels.
The "author" is derived from what ever information is added to the pdf file. It uses the metadata embedded in the pdf file. Not every "author" is consistent entering the correct value.... hence the somewhat strange sorting sometimes, depending on your content. There are a few programs around, that you can use to edit the filedata of your pdf files. There was a thread in on this forum a few months ago, with some links to these programs.
