My middle daughter, now 20 - married with bub on the way, was fascinated with both my wife's JBL and my Sony PRS-300 and Kobo.

She asked if there might be an ereader in her Christmas stocking this year

So Dad is now hunting for a cheap ereader for her which is not an easy thing to do in a country (Australia) where ereaders cost around $200 minimum. The JBL might be the winner, purchased from the US I think.

In the meantime I have installed Mobipocket on her smartphone and loaded it up with a series I purchased for my wife to read, which daughter-mine has read one paperback of.

My youngest bookworm, now nearly 17, is not ready to give up dead tree books quite yet. She loves the smell of old tomes
