The trouble with LG as a device name is that this designation will shift when Amazon ships a newer device. I don't know why Amazon does not call it the Kindle 3, and this seems as good an unofficial designation as any. In the E-book Reader Matrix, I called it "Kindle 3G+WiFi". WiFi is currently a unique identifier for this Kindle generation, but presumably the Kindle 4 will also have WiFi.
