Neat idea, Betty. I've always used a flip-top cover on my Sony. With the flap back, it forms a perfect rest so that the reader is free standing and steady if my hands are otherwise occupied (I can hold a Cognac in one, for instance, whilst pinching the bottom of a passing waitress with the other ... and never have to take my eyes off my book).
