And what an evil thing it is to own a bookstore. Frankly, sometimes I wonder whether the shift to digital consumption (as opposed to digital distribution combined with print on demand) is simply a very cunning attempt to destroy the used market. Sony is attempting this with the PSP Go in the video game market. I mean, if I buy an ebook, print it out (using calibre or some such), bind it, and erase the original (and have the vendor remove it from my on-line account) it would still be illegal for me to sell it, would it not?
