I have a Sony Reader and I am keeping myself from buying a Nook. I'm not sure why I'm so attracted to it, but I do like the idea of being able to dedicate each device to a certain type of book so that I don't have to flip back and forth between books on a single device, the way I am now.

I am a long time sony user (500, 700, 300) and I finally broke down and got a nook. Very happy with it. Probably wouldn't have gotten it except for the fact that I left my readers at home (and am out of the country for 6 months)- then I bought the 300, thinking I could just load my library onto it, but I don't have internet on my personal computer and can't use the software at work (long story, just accept it)- bummed, I bought a nook that I had my parents register and send to me. Now I can load books downloaded from BN no problem! It makes me happy. The battery life isn't as good as the sony readers, but it does have that touch screen to suck out that difference, so I give it a pass- and 10 hours of reading isn't all that bad at all!
