I was thinking it might be something like that. "Peregrine" means wanderer in latin (english?)
(foot is pied in french btw)

However, I'm not sure it matches up to 'Peleus' - I wonder what the etymology is of the name?* - and the meter (I think it's called) of the verse, seems off, isn't it supposed to be six beats per line? (I don't know the right terminology)


*my greek-english dictionary isn't very comprehensive - it offered up pelos (πηλος) = mud, clay - (Peleid: Πηληϊάδεω )
