My parents. At a early age it was off to the library.
And a teacher early in grade school.
One day my class was gathered in the school library and she selected books for each of us. She didn't even look at the titles. Just pulled books off the shelves and handed them out randomly.
This has stayed with me through the years and was a lesson in appreciating books.
