The Loved One caught my head-cold...for all of about two days. Me, still going to sleep with a sandcrab down my throat and waking up with oysters in my air-passages.

Anyway, continuing two telly channels' current scheduling of Bond films every week, tonight we watch A View To A Kill. By this time, the Bond series had well-and-truly hovercraft-gondola'd over the shark (Moonraker), but this particular movie sunk to knew levels of "Ugh!" by presenting the most horrific concept ever presented on film...a mid-30's Grace Jones and an approaching-60 Roger Moore infiltrating each other's spy rings. On the other hand, Christopher Walken, Duran Duran, and (relations with Roger aside) Grace Jones is the magnificent Grace Jones. Also, the Paris stunts are pretty neat.

Right now I'm eating a peanut butter roll.

Cheers,
Marc
