Hi all,

I'm not sure I'd even consider a MS Tablet or whatever they want to call it. I didn't bat an eye when MS released the Zune, and I'm no fan of Apple or MS.

The things I'd like to do a tablet are generally those things my phone is not so good at, but I'd also like to see a bit of versatility, like it being a programmable remote for my audio-visual stuff; a recipe book; perhaps a reader if the screen was good enough; personal calendar, and so forth. Office stuff I can do on my PC or notebook.

I don't care much what the OS is, so long as it works easily and reliably, and I don't trust MS in those areas, nor do I trust its support of its own software.

At this stage, I'd get an iPad before I bought an MS tablet, but I'd buy an Android tablet before either, provided quality was not an issue.

Quite underwhelmed by Balmer's announcement, but I'll wait and see.

Cheers,
