I agree that as long as the buttons is sensitive enough a "narrow" button doesn't need to be a problem. That being said it needs to be more sensitive than that of the Kindle 2 on which I find that you have to make a firm click to get it to flip sides, this is not a problem on the Kindle 2 since the buttons are larger. Since Amazon state that they've managed to reduce the click-sound I'm guessing that the buttons indeed are more sensitive.
