I live in Los Angeles and our e-library is excellent. All my books are free; they are either from B&N, or from libraries or “lend to me” by my fellow nook friends. Rumor says the Nook2 is due out September. To be competitive, they must match or beat the Kindle 3 price with the addition of some killer features. I have been telling myself to wait until Christmas before making the plunge but I just couldn’t resist. The e-reading experience has been terrific; no more hauling books around and no more checking in and out of physical books from the Library. Everything is so convenient at my nook or computer tips and I just love it. However, knowing myself, it won’t be long before I’ll again submit to temptation and get another ereader gadget; this time, I’m gunning for a 2nd gen iPad or an android tablet.
