Do you know why your Squeezebox Radio (and possibly the K3) doesn't connect to an ad-hoc type network? Just curious what that limitation stems from.

I have no idea why the squeezebox doesnt support adhoc. I think I am going to try it again tonight
I am still holding out some hope that the K3 actually will.
Also not that I didnt believe but I double checked what you said about the pre and you are absolutely correct, its hotspot operates in infrastructure mode which is really nice.
