Just curious, I called KCS to see what I'd get and of course the answers I got were... varied.
The first man I spoke to was very clear that (any) version of the DX would NOT be getting the new pdf functionality... though from the way he spoke to me I felt he was just having a bad morning and didn't feel like looking up what I was talking about or finding a supervisor.
The second man I spoke to, said he didn't know, but he guessed that since it was a software thing, the update should be made available, sometime around the launch of the Kindle 3's in August.
The third and last rep I talked to was a woman who didn't know but also didn't see any reason why it wouldn't be made available to older devices.
That's Kindle CS for you ^^; can't blame em, just hope for the best.
