With folders, books are where me myself decided to put them. Not where the publisher decided
The publishers do not define what "collection" a book goes is entered in. You build your own collections and place books in the collections you want them in. You can even have books in multiple collections.

For example

I have To be read Sci Fi, Read Sci Fi, To be read Fantasy, Read Fantasy, and Reading.

I placed Robin Hobbs new Dragon Series in the To be read Fantasy. When I started the first book, I moved it to Reading and removed it from To be read Fantasy. When I finished reading it, I moved it to Read Fantasy and removed it from Reading.

There are many books that I have in multiple collections because I feel like they belong in two or three collections.
