judging by the image you attached to your post, it is not a symbian OS. if it's a touch-screen, it would need to run UIQ2 or UIQ3 gui, which looks a lot different.
if it's a non-touch-screen device, it'll run S60 (like on a lot of nokias) or S90 (as in the nokia communicator).
symbian is a layered OS, the core is called symbian, the user interface can look different.

when i google "NT6306 symbian", i get a bunch of hits, all in chinese or korean, i can't separate those two, sorry.

so i would suggest you download mobipocket for S60:

(dunno if it's second or 3rd edition you need)
transfer the SIS file to your phone and use a file browser (on the phone) to run it. if it'll start installing, you're good to go.
