I would think it would be no more a hassle than having only one copy of a paper book to read.

I have a Sony Reader and I am keeping myself from buying a Nook. I'm not sure why I'm so attracted to it, but I do like the idea of being able to dedicate each device to a certain type of book so that I don't have to flip back and forth between books on a single device, the way I am now.

I'm one that reads two or three books at a time, usually at least one, sometimes more, that are "light and fluffy" and one "time-tested classic". If I ever finish Moby Dick -- started it back in January -- maybe I won't wish for a dedicated device just for the ones I'm slogging through just so that I can finally know what their story is. It is hard to keep at it when I have more interesting stories available on the same device.

I have readers installed on my iPod Touch, iPad and Android phone, but I rarely use them. I didn't buy them to read books, but I like to keep that option open in case I want to.
