It reads very much like an article. A good article, but not one I would personally continue reading for several hundred pages in book form. This comes from someone who happily reads dozens of news/policitcal articles on the internet every week but who only reads fantasy/science fiction when it comes to anything over 4 pages.
With all the magazines out there for educators, have you considered submitting some stories to one of them? You may have better success and a larger readership going that route rather than the self-published eBook format.
