No - Stanza does not understand mobi (that is a Kindle format) as far as I know. calibre2opds will definitely generate Stanza download links for ePub books.

Calibre can do mobi->epub conversions so getting epub format books for use with Stanza should be easy enough (assuming they are DRM free so Calibre can convert them).
