Hah. With guppies there is no such thing as 'chance', only 'certainty'.
At least 6 males, and 2 females that give "birth" every forth week. Most of the fry is eaten of course, when they are very small, but a handful survives. I assume at some point the amount of fish will reach a an equilibrium, too, but apparently not yet. It's "Darwin Live"
