I'm not sure I'd say anyone particularly influenced me, although my Father steered me towards my first sci-fi books. I too was uncensored as a child and would read anything I could. I'd just take books off the shelf that had titles I liked and read them. Some of it I didn't understand but I just kept reading. I started on Shakespeare at age 7, it took a while but I eventually figured out what they were talking about. Books were my treasures, I'd save my pocket money for weeks to buy one from the local bookshop. I still have them all.
