It was 102⁰F (39⁰C) on the deck a couple of hours ago when the electricity went out. Norton, the grandson, and I headed for the pool. It wasn't much better; the pool was 92⁰ and had crept up to 94⁰ by the time we came out. At least the electricity is back on. I'll be glad when the utility work in our neighborhood is finished. Twice in the past couple of weeks we've lost our Internet connection, and today the electricity went out.
