I was reading the online version of my hometown newspaper, and as usual, checked the obituaries. My best friend from elementary school's mom passed away on Friday. I absolutely loved this woman - she was a second mom to me, I was always welcome at her home, at her dinner table, and in her cherry tree.
I so know better than to read that site right before I go into work...
