You said you transferred the book, did you try to open it? And was it a public domain title?

The book sample I downloaded was [I]the surgeon[I] by Tess Gurritsen. I was able to open it on my sony 505, however I did not buy the entire book which is why I asked if anyone had any problem with a complete book download for their sony.
