Out of curiosity, where do you get Chinese ebooks in Unicode? The libraries I frequent here in Shanghai use GB (Big5 for Traditional). Ditto for Chinese websites (Alibaba, Baidu, Baiyun.net). Unicode seems conspicuous in Asia only by its absence.
