From someone who owns both a Kindle2 and a Kobo - I cannot think of a more legible reading experience than my Kobo and its built-in sans serif font. Whether in bright conditions, low-light conditions, or with an LED clip-on, the Kobo is wonderfully readable.

Whether a Nook or Kobo or Kindle2 - they are all three quality units. My recommendation? Purchase one - now. And start enjoying the eReading experience as soon as you can.
