You really have to look at it in perspective though.

The AMZN stock price was hovering around $120 right before the earnings release. After the announcement it fell to around $100 in overnight trading. Over Friday it then climbed back up to close at around $118 and by next week will probably be right back where it started. This one or two day price fluctuations are pretty meaningless unless you are smart enough to time them right.
