I had a stationary exercise bike, but had to give it up. The knees ain't what they used to be. Maybe I could use that device, but I have no where to put it.

No, he uses it to get out of the pool...and
in, when I attach the ladder; which I only do when we swim. A bit of a safety device, given all the dogs who drown in pools every year. I coated the surface of the slide with non-skid. When I was shopping for a wire brush for the drill to rough up the surface of the plastic, the salesman asked why I was putting non-skid paint on a slide. I told him I didn't really like kids all that much. He gave me a mighty strange look.
