Also peruse the thread, "Why I bought my Kobo" that is on the Kobo messagebase.

I have a Kindle2 (my wife's) and my Kobo. And I can see where the Kindle2 is superior. But I am enjoying my Kobo - for READING BOOKS.

If I had Web access, I'd be messing around with it. I already have an iPod touch and other devices for listening to music. I do not expect my eReader to give me high-res photos reproduction. The Kobo is an excellent eREADER for READING BOOKS.
