I tried your OOo conversion module and the one from writer2latex and found it easier to work with the latter. If I'm remembering right I need to (re)apply your styles to my document to output an epub and with writer2latex I don't.
Further I like it when something is available as (open-)source since that makes it possible to fix or alter things to my own taste.
And last but not least its free.
