The first change I see needing done is instead of forum topics like ...
* Reader Content
* Reader Accessories
* Reader Troubleshooting
* Reader Developer's Corner

The titles need to be made device specific...
* Reader(PRS500) Content
* Reader(PRS500) Accessories
* Reader(PRS500) Troubleshooting
* Reader(PRS500) Developer's Corner

That would let people know that what we have is for what model. But, that also means then that we also need to seperate out the stuff that works for both models as opposed to just the 500 or 505. So yes, I think we also need generic forums and specific forums.
