7. Political and Religious Topics
Past experience has shown that threads debating religious or political matters are unlikely to be edifying, and often become bad-tempered. Our mission is to support the mobile reading community. There are other sites which focus on contemporary political and religious discussions, so we strongly recommend that you debate these topics elsewhere.
MobileRead reserves the right to edit or delete posts about politics and religion, where these are unrelated to mobile reading.

I cynically suspect the history of the next million posts will be marked, like reality, with the disturbances caused by extreme clashes over religion and politics, but the opposite part of my cynicism likes to think those things will diminish, and, like reality, not reflect the vast majority of posts of people going about their daily lives, getting by, chatting and discussing with friends, acquaintances and welcome strangers, helping each other, exchanging thoughts and experiences.
Personally I'm going for the 21st Century and next million posts to become known as the Unutterably Silly Age, and I intend to be there, no matter what I have to sacrifice, and to which of the Great Old Ones, but that's just me. I'm hoping it's Will Ferrell, and to the Dark One that is the eater of pink-and-sugary souls, Hell Oh! Kitty, but, you know, I'll take what I can get.
Cheers,
Marc
