New to Calibre - Recipe/HTML question

Greetings! I just downloaded Calibre a couple of days ago - loving it already! One of the ways I use my Nook is to read original fiction and fanfiction from sites like fictionpress.com and fanfiction.net. I've been using another compiler program to gather the chapters together into one master file for reading. In reviewing the User's Guide, it occurred to me that it might be possible to do this with Calibre using the Recipe function. It would be great to do it that way rather than having to go through a separate process.

Is this possible, and if so, how would I do that? I think I read something about Index pages, and I'm not sure if these sites are set up that way.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for a great program!
