An APC being an armoured personnel carrier, right? I remember those - I read my first Terry Pratchet books while bumping around hills of Bosnia onboard Warrior APCs
Of course this is back in the days of pBooks.
Good thing about Warriors is that you can still read while being shot at, these things have fantastic active armour protection
