Thanks for the link. Yes, I've been poring over that and other matrices for days. And yes, shipping is going to be the main problem. I'm finding shipping costs from the US ranging from a low of $48 to a high of $116. For that much, I could easily buy a more full-featured model locally.

In general, Sonys are good devices, no doubt, and one of the few known brands that I can pick up locally (just about everything else here are off-brand Korean and Chinese models no one's ever heard of). Right now, I've got my eye on a PB 360, however, shipping costs are a bit off-putting.

As for the current Sonys, the hue and cry over the 600's screen has given me pause, while the 900's too large for my needs. Perhaps the 300, if I'm willing to forgo the touch screen. Best would be if I can find anyone who still has stock on the 505.

And yes, I do use Calibre.
