Mine is lying on the bed pillow, sofa or my lap. For that it works great. Just holding it seems a little uncomfortable for me, but for short periods it's ok.

Hmmm. Screen rotating while the bus takes a turn. Never thought of that
On the other side, I haven't been on a bus for years. And I guess reading while driving a car is not really an option
