No assumptions made. I speak only for myself and my preferences. I would expect any consumer to look out for his own interests and to logically not assume that everyone's needs are identical. I'm happy to read the way I like, and cheers for you finding something you like, too.
By the way, even a non-techie like me has figured out how to download and consume later without a connection on iPad.
