(Always felt these introductory forums are kinda weird, like an online dating sort of deal, but whatever)

I'm a Chinese Canadian living in, yeah Canada. I'm in a relatively turbulent, although recently calm neko-seme relationship of 14 years. My partner has two beautiful children, whom I love dearly.

I love reading manga, books (mostly sci-fi and fantasy) and fanfiction. I love anime but can be picky about my movies. I love to play hand drum and kit; I also play the entire recorder family, although I'm not very good at it anymore.

My current favourites are:
Jacqueline Carey's Kushiel's Legacy series
Tad Williams' Otherland series
Neal Stephenson's Snow Crash

I've read many a book in my life time, although not all were worthy reads. I owned over 4000 books before I went to university. There I accumulated another 1800 before I had to return home and enter the workforce.

I wrote horrible cyberpunk when I was a child, ending up with a 100+ page manuscript that I eventually packed away. I picked up writing again to stave off mental deterioration a few years ago. Currently, I write Kim Possible femslash fanfiction under the same username on fanfiction.net. I hope to complete a personal work in the future! I'm not a great writer in my opinion, but I try to be entertaining, and not make grammatical or spelling errors.

I logged into this site because I am looking to purchase an eReader for my partner, but it seems like a great place to learn about eReaders, people and books.
