It looks like you have discovered some great places to get books. Have you checked our Wiki? There is a page devoted to free book sites. Plus, just in case you haven't found them: smashwords.com and baen.com which has a great free library.

Then, of course, the MR Library with thousands of book beautifully formatted by some very dedicated MR members. ePub format

Have fun continuing to explore MR and just ask if you have any questions.
Thanks to everyone who has welcomed me. I checked out the ebook section on the forum yesterday. Yes I have been on wikibooks, smashwords, Baen, Gutenberg (and Gutenberg Australia), Internet Archive, Kobo, Open Library, and Fictionwise. I've been on a lot of these sites way before deciding to get an eReader. I do not care much for Google Books however.

The only slight hitch there is that some books' formatting leaves something to be desired. As Dreams says above, though, the MobileRead work is always beautifully prepared and will present well on your Nook. Most here would also recommend that you download the excellent and free Calibre library software developed by MR member Kovid Goyal. Best wishes. Neil
Yes I am already using Calibre (and have updated to the new version) and love it, thank you. I got the how to log a Series figured out last night and things seem to be going ok so far. I love how quick and fool proof this whole switch to an eReader is and loading with Calibre simplifies it even more. I really like how you can see your library in one view and what's actually on the device in another. I was so hesitant when I looked into making the switch about 2 years ago but am glad I finally have.
