Not a hack, really, as the (non-Topaz) Kindle format
is Mobi. I don't think they want to publicize it, as (1) they don't really want to deal with support questions regarding how to get such content over to the phone/device, and (2) they would rather you purchased more books from their store than obtain DRM-free content elsewhere.
