If you hold your JBL up and compare to the picture it seems, in my opinion, that we are looking at the same screen size, maybe just a "simplified" user interface.

Take a JBL and cut the buttons on the bottom off.
Then convert the side 0-9 keys to a set of <, *, and > controls (hmm, android anyone?).
Now imagine running your JBL with all functions accessed through a "home" ( * ) click and then scrolling through options with < and > presses and then selecting the option with another * click.

I hope someone just thinks about allowing the user to flip the screen so the buttons can be right-side or left-side.
