If the July 22 JBL update only has one DRM, which one do you want?

The July 22 firmware release is supposed to give the JBL ADE/B&N epub DRM.
I am hoping that the JBL will keep the eReader DRM, as well.

I'm hoping that B&N would have no objection to both of the DRMs on the
JBL (and the JB for that matter) for they should have ebooks available in
both DRM formats, in their inventory. I believe the only obstacle would be
a contractual issue from one or both of the DRM licensors, that required
exclusivity. Who else could object?

But Jerry isn't able to tell us whether the JBL can have both, until it can
be established that having both on one device is "legal".

So - If only one, which one?

I would stick with the eReader, myself as I've got some of that still around.
Also, I like the current FBreader based epub formatting.

Of course it looks to be just a matter of which firmware you run.

The basic DRM issue doesn't mean much to me, as I routinely remove it
anyway.

Maybe someone should do a poll.

Luck;
Ken
