I thought making the free bumper offer time limited was odd so I wondered the same thing. If there is a fix that helps the problem without involving a bumper such as slight relocation of the antenna or a non-conductive coating, could they still call it an iPhone 4 or will this be a 4b, 4+, or something else?
September 30 is not all that far away. I would think any changes must already be close to or in manufacturing.
