Apparently I have not been to the proper "country" pubs (I need to get a car, I need to get a car, I need to...). Scottish friends are coming to visit us and said there are no good pubs in Scotland, so they would like to visit one of the proper country pubs over here. I and my DH have done some research and our local friends gave us a tour around...wow! looks interesting. I hope to visit one or two soon.
