I'm sorry to hear of your bad experiences with your Reader. I've had my Sony 700 for over a year and a half and still love it. Like many others I bought the PSP charger. I got it dirt cheap when Circuit City was going out of business. I don't know, but charging it on someone else's computer and not an authorized computer... could that have been the problem? There are lots more knowledgable members here that can help with this and any other questions you may have!
