Made pesto last night, a vegetable curry this arvo, as well as a balsamic reduction (pesto and balsamic for tomorrow night's entrée, and the vegie currie for one of my brothers tomorrow night, seeing as it's a barbecue and steak is decidedly non-vegetable (note, I make the curry for him, but I make it so anyone might want it. It's a nice curry...I hope.

). I'm currently waiting for Mother to arrive back from my sister's, as well as my brothers and partners to arrive this evening.
Oh, yeah, I forgot to post the piccie of yesterday's
"lunch". It was toffee choux (custard cream filled) and, in the background, hot "Liquid [milk] Chocolate" (they do a dark as well). Nicest hot chocolate I've ever had, and the pastry even beat the Paris-Brest which was previously reigning champion in my personal Pastry Olympics. See attached:
