That {0} text will be replaced by the word that Freda is trying to look up.
Freda also puts that word into the clipboard before launching the dictionary program. As for how to pass search text to the Miriam-Webster dictionary, I am afraid I'm not familiar with that program, and I can't offer any very useful information.
