THE WIFE OF FREEDOM

THE WIFE OF FREEDOM is a romantic adventure that takes place in a fictional world called New Acton - a world something like America in 1776. Available from Amazon, Smashwords, Borders, B&N, and the Apple iBookstore for $2.99.

Description: Mary Alwyn is the upstanding wife of a local revolutionary. She was once a wild orphan, who loved to run barefoot and jump in the mud, but she's been raised to be a good and proper wife. When she married the irrepressible Jackie Alwyn, everyone thought it was a perfect match. Unfortunately the man known to all as "Jackie the Freedom" is married to the revolution. So when Mary meets Henry, a charming nobleman, he's like a big mud-puddle, and she just can't help but jump in bed with him.

But her anarchist husband doesn't take the infidelity the way you might expect. When she betrays her lover's trust for the revolution, Jackie holds her up as a hero and publishes a book about her titled "The Whore of Freedom." This becomes Mary's scarlet letter. If she's ever going to live down the first part of that name, she's going to have to live up to the second. So she sets out to be a spy, as bold as the reputation that precedes her, while learning anew what it is to be a real friend to those you love. But she'll never really be free until she returns to face her past.

(Note: the subject matter of this novel is mature, and while the style is not explicit, it does contain some intense scenes and material not suited for children.)

THE WIFE OF FREEDOM is available at Amazon, at Smashwords, at Barnes & Noble, and the Apple iBookstore, and other ebook retailers.
